PhD Synergy Proteinpulver – grasgefütterte Molke, vegetarisch

I've been a fan of other Science in Sport products before, especially the gels, but this carb sports drink doesn't quite suit me or fit into my routine very well- for one thing it's not all that convenient, and for another thing, it's not all that nice. A large 82g sachet is to be mixed with 600g of water, making for the best part of a litre of volume of drink from each sachet, which is a bit awkward when my sports bottles are all 500ml and so on. It takes a lot of persuading and stirring to mix properly, and even then it can end up a bit lumpy as the powder clusters. For quick easy convenience, it's not a high scorer. I got the Orange' flavour, and I put the word orange in quotes deliberately there. The colour is not appealing, starting out at a bright unnatural white before settling to a grey colour which you might generously describe as lemon-drink-coloured, or less generously as dishwater-coloured. Despite looking a little like a lemon drink, the flavour is orange', or at least, orange-ish- to me there's just as much lemon as orange in there, and while it's not unpleasant, it's definitely odd, semi-sweet and very glucose-ish yet still a bit powdery. The recommendation is to sip it little and often for hydration, and with a flavour like this, and quite a lot of intensity to it, you wouldn't want to gulp this down in larger quantities anyway. If you're dedicated to sports nutrition and you're more interested in the carb values than the flavour, this might well be a step up from other brands. If like me you'd still like sports drinks to be at least either tasty or convenient if they can't be both, then this may leave you a bit disappointed.

I am an ultra-mountain runner and I have used the Beta Fuel from SIS in the past for races up to 100 miles. It has always worked for me, so no complaints about the product. Unfortunately, from this order, 3 of the packets were not correctly sealed, so powder escaped from the sides. I was able to get a full refund from MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP.

I enjoyed this energy drink a lot, It definitely was typical of sis products i have had in the past. When i put down the power on my bike and drink this during my rides, It gave me the energy to keep going even when it got tough. I can't think of any negatives about this orange energy drink, As it helped me perform well and tastes delicious. It is exactly what i would expect from a sis product, Giving me high octane when i'm low on energy. This is a drink i would recommend to any cyclists looking for gains during their training routine.

I really appreciate the fact that this is a vegan supplement and it states there is clearly on the box that the sachets come in. I use this as an intra workout when I am doing and especially heavy session of either cardio or weights or both. I found it mixed reasonably well and I use the same shaker bottle that I use before my session to use it for pre-workout. It mixes is reasonably well with cold water and produces quite a nice flavour. I like this orange as the sweetness level is just right. Enough for it to be pleasant It's not overly sweet. I find this reasonably convenient and also helping me get a real boost for those longer heavier sessions. It's maybe not the cheapest of supplements but the fact that it is a vegan supplement means that I am happy paying that little bit extra.
