Check hemoglobin levels first

This had the opposite effect on my son. He became very angry and slept worse. I tried two different times for him. However, we did just discover he has a hemoglobin problem and magnesium effects the veins for blood flow so that might why it didn't work for him. Check your levels before starting. Tastes amazing.

Does more than help with sleep

I bought this for my 5 year old who frequently wets himself day and night. I hear magnesium can help is overactive bladder is the culprit. Sure enough, it has helped a lot. What a lifesaver!

Mix it with their favorite drink

Like others have stated, the taste leaves something to be desired. My 6 year old will drink it mixed with the strawberry banana smoothie from Bolthouse Farms. Lemonade also works (or probably any of their favorite drinks). We have seen improvement in behavior and also tics (from Tourette syndrome). It's the only supplement we have found that has magnesium glycinate instead of the usual citrate and glycinate is best for neurological issues and stress.

Bad taste for kids

I'm sure it's super healthy but my kids hate the taste and refuse to take it.

Product is old, cannot use before the "Best By" date on the container

I just received the Calm Kids magnesium powder and the "Best By" date is only good for 5 months (11/23). I have been buying Calm for many years and the "Best By" date has always been at least two years. Appears to be an old container of the Calm Kids. I asked to return for a newer container and received no communication reply. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and knowing I will not be able to use all this product before the use by date.
