This liquid supplement smells so good, like limes, and it tastes so good, too! I took this straight without any after-taste or issues, but as the directions state - it can be put in a drink. I like the ingredients. I love being able to get my magnesium in an easy to swallow drink than a pill, so I am a huge fan of this product. Yummy to me!

Summary: Previously reviewed an electrolyte offering from Trace Minerals, so decided to order three other products: Women's Multi-Vitamin, Magnesium Glycinate Liquid, and Magnesium Glycinate Powder. The wife will be trying the multi-V, and I'll check out the two magnesium glycinate offerings. We have both been having a hard time sleeping and my wife remembers that a friend once gave her a magnesium supplement before bed and swore it would provide great sleep—which it did. Observations (magnesium): This magnesium offering has 120mg or 29%DV. The liquid one should be absorbed quicker, whereas the powder will be a slower absorption. Observations (multi-vitamins): For multi-Vs, the formulation for men and women should be different, especially for different age groups. When I look at a %DV, I usually look at what is provided above 100%, and for this women's offering: biotin 667%, B12 313%, Folate 200%, B6 147%. I can't tell you if those are necessary, and every person is going to be different. To me, multi-Vs are just preventative to make-up for deficiencies in a person's diet. Recommendations: With food, our family is fairly health conscious, so we get most of our groceries from Whole Foods. In addition to being organic, the "Country of Origin" is very important to us. TRACE MINERALS does specify on the MySupplementShop page the country of origin as being USA (for two of the three), but not on the product images. Pros: Supplemental information (%DV) provided; seems like the fully ingredient lists are provided; reasonable cost per serving (except the liquid, see below); Trace Minerals offerings nearly 200 products, all health supplement related, and most with +4 star ratings/reviews. Cons: Cost for the liquid is nearly 3x over the powder. Conclusion: Rating all of these 4-stars (fair cost, good ratings). Everything about this supplement is good except one thing: the cap doesn't have a way to measure the dosage. The instructions says use quarter of the cap, but it's a huge cap and it's difficult to identify how much is a quarter. I ended up using another cap that I have with lines, and even with that one it's a bit difficult to identify 8ml exactly. Other than dose measurement, I really like this product and it's a good way to supplement with magnesium and the added trace minerals. Also good for a more restful sleep.

Trace Minerals Magnesium Glycinate Liquid Supplement is from a brand I trust and is pleasant tasting. All ages will probably enjoy the flavor and water-like texture. I don't like the dosing cup is also the lid as that always leads to a mess so I am using an alternative measuring device. If you are looking for a liquid magnesium supplement, this is a nice alternative to capsules and granules.

I have ordered this bottle of magnesium, first of all due to the fact that is liquid and not capsules, and the other reason was to get a more restful sleep. I do take other magnesium supplements, but in capsule form and I wanted to try liquid. The taste is OK it’s not too bad but it kind of has a lemon soapy taste. Upon receiving the bottle, it is a lot smaller than I had imagined it to be. It only comes in 8 fluid ounces, which is a very small amount and can be very expensive if you will be taking it daily. This magnesium contains 120 mg for 1/4 cap full and it also adds 10 mg of trace mineral complex which includes iconic trade minerals. Trace minerals is a very well-known brand with high-quality supplements. I appreciate the fact that it is vegan, gluten-free, GMO free and third-party tested. I believe it to be a good quality magnesium, but I am afraid that it might be too expensive to use as a daily supplement for me.
