Soccer Supplement Whey 90 Pro Grade Whey Protein Isolate 1kg

This is a really good protein powder. Clearly marketed at football but whey isolate is a single source more refined whey and marketing aside this is perfectly fine for any activity requiring additional protein. Mixes well though I use a blender and the vanilla taste is generally good, though slightly less refined on the follow through. Its a good solid hit of protein at 32g for roughly 130 ish calories, low carb and sugar etc

You get a good amount of protein for the amount of calories but the flavour was not to my liking. I had to add more milk/water to make it less thick but even then it doesn't mix well and isn't smooth at all. I've tried other chocolate flavoured protein powder that tasted much better. Even with all that, I managed to finish it all since it provides a good amount of protein.

My partner uses protein supplements as a form of recovery from playing badminton, this is his review. The brand soccer supplement is targeted at footballers and its marketing says that it's used by some professional footballers and clubs worldwide. Although this is labelled branded as a soccer supplement, my sport of badminton has similar intensity levels although perhaps not quite as much. Informed sport accreditation. The first thing we should cover is that all of this brand's products have informed sport accreditation. This means that their products are screened for banned substances in accordance with Informed Sport. This makes it an excellent choice for elite and professional athletes. The nutritional breakdown very thorough and fills me with confidence of the contents of this protein powder. This is obviously very important for those who are elite sports people as they very much need to know exactly what they are putting into their bodies to remain compliant. One serving is noted to be 36g which is more than other shakes I've had. The nutritional information says there is 30.5g of protein per 36g of serving. But the logo says 32g of protein per serving. A slight discrepancy. I tested this by mixing 25g of the protein powder with 225ml of water. This is roughly usually what I mix for my shakes as I tend to target a 20g input at a time of protein, spread throughout the day. Taste Taste wise, this shake tastes a bit different to other chocolate flavoured protein powders that I have in recent times. It's more of a cocoa flavour. I didn't find it too bad but I can say that other brands might be considered to be ahead in this department. However, taste as always is a very subjective thing so trying it out for yourself is the only way to know for sure. Mixability With the 25g portion size to 225ml of water (roughly 1:10 as per what I would usually use for a shake), I found that this protein powder mixes not that smoothly compared to other protein powders. The whey is a little claggy and sticks together in clumps. Granted, I may have been blessed quite recently with some very good protein (non-whey) as a comparison so perhaps comparing it to that is a little unfair. Compared however to a leading brand of whey protein, it mixes a little similarly to it, perhaps this is a bit more clumpy as it's a whey protein isolate. Overall, not too bad. Big plus points are the accreditation with Informed Sport and also the full nutritional listing on the packet. At £25 for 1kg, it's on the more expensive side of protein powders but it is a Whey Protein Isolate and has Informed Sport accreditation.

This does taste like cookies and cream but if you’re used to taking whey you'll know it all tastes thick but this is more pleasant than some I’ve had. The ingredients are good . Funnily enough I play a lot of football plus do weight training so this is perfect for me. Good value for the size and quality. I would definitely buy this purely on the ingredients
